Our Year In Review

It has been a wonderful year of growth for Chattanooga and we are honored to be a part of it. From the consolidation of big banks to new developments around town, our city has gone through new and exciting changes and we can’t help but be proud of all that we have
accomplished together. At RockPointBank, our mission has always been to become your trusted financial partner who embraces the spirit of Chattanooga. Join us in looking back at all the ways we have embraced that mission.

Where We Started
Nearly one full year ago in January of 2024, we kicked off the new year with a Cybersecurity Symposium. The goal of this symposium was to educate business owners and CEOs about the threats of cyber attacks and how they can prepare their organizations to combat these attacks. As the world moves even further into the digital age, protecting your assets both from a business standpoint and a personal one, is essential. At RockPointBank one of our core values is innovation in banking. We were proud to offer this symposium as an opportunity for our community to explore new ways to protect themselves and to stay alert to potential threats.

How We Progressed
This year was an exciting one for giving back! True to our values of building relationships and intentional contribution to our community, we were thrilled to move forward with many sponsorships and volunteer opportunities. In March, we sponsored a table at the 2024 Odyssey Luncheon benefitting Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy as well as the Wine Women & Shoes event benefitting Ronald McDonald House of Chattanooga. In April, we supported the River City Ribbon Run to benefit the Rees Skillern Cancer Institute and CHI Memorial Hospital. One of our favorite give back opportunities came in May when our team helped build a house for a deserving family with Habitat for Humanity. Later in June and July, our Relationship Manager Susan Spletzer donated her expertise by teaching a Financial Literacy class at GPS and McCallie Schools. This was an especially important one for us as we firmly believe in cultivating a healthy and thriving financial future for Chattanooga and that begins with teaching our children good values.

From swim team sponsorships to donating blood, to our director Eric Storey’s participation in the logistics of getting wreaths for the Chattanooga National Cemetery for the Wreaths Across America event, we have been honored to serve our community well. We look forward to the ways we can contribute in 2025.

How We’re Doing Now
With all that in mind, it’s time to look at our own financials. When we began RockPointBank nearly four years ago, we knew we had a huge opportunity for growth and service to Chattanooga. Now we have the numbers to prove our predictions were correct. In June of this year we received the FDIC’s 2024 Hamilton County Market Growth Report. In that report we can see growth by 42% which propelled us into the Top 10 banks in our county. This growth is not just exciting for us but shows Chattanooga’s support of our philosophy that banking locally is the best choice for our community. With a total number of $233.9 million in deposits and growing every quarter, we are poised to continue expanding in the new year. RockPointBank has had an exciting journey since our doors opened in 2021. From financial
growth to community opportunities, we have furthered our mission in becoming a known and trusted financial partner embracing the spirit of our community. We want to thank our clients for their part in this success. We look forward to all we will do together in 2025.

Happy New Year!
