Hampton Johnston
Hamp Johnston, brings over 30 years of banking experience to Chattanooga—rooted in the local market. After earning his BA from Washington and Lee University in 1993, Hamp launched his career in a commercial lending training program in Memphis. He later graduated from The Graduate School of Banking at LSU and built a diverse banking background spanning correspondent banking, business banking, middle market banking, and private banking and trust.
Since 2006, Hamp has led high-performing teams, culminating in his role as East Tennessee Market Executive for JPMorgan Chase before co-founding RockPointBank. RockPointBank opened in March of 2021 with a mission to serve Chattanooga’s business professionals. The bank has raised over $50 million in capital—primarily from local investors—and remains locally owned and managed, filling a gap left by industry consolidation.
Deeply committed to Chattanooga, Hamp has served in leadership roles such as past President of the McCallie Alumni Council and the Chattanooga Golf and Country Club and graduated from Leadership Chattanooga and the Holmberg Arts Leadership Institute. He currently serves on the boards of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, Girls Preparatory School (GPS), and Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy (CGLA), and is an active member of the Downtown Chattanooga Rotary.
Camille Daniel
Camille Daniel is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience in Chattanooga’s banking industry. As a graduate of Rhodes College with a degree in Business Administration, Camille went on to earn her MBA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Before establishing RockPointBank, Camille served as Senior Vice President and Commercial Team Lead for First Horizon Bank, where she oversaw the Southeast Tennessee market and built a reputation for her leadership, strategic insight, and commitment to client success.
Equally dedicated to her community, Camille is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Chattanooga and has served on the boards of the Memorial Hospital Foundation and Girls Inc., in addition to her involvement with the Junior League of Chattanooga. She currently serves on the board of Volunteers in Medicine and volunteers with the Austin Hatcher Foundation, extending her passion for improving lives throughout the region. Her decades of professional expertise, combined with her strong record of civic engagement, make her a trusted leader both in banking and in the greater Chattanooga community.
Rich Balthrop
Rich Balthrop is a Chattanooga native, and a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Rich spent two decades as a commercial developer, where he was deeply involved in shaping projects that contributed to the region’s growth and development. During this period, he also pursued his passion for golf, becoming member of the PGA of America.
In 2008, Rich transitioned into banking, bringing his unique perspective as both a developer and entrepreneur to finance. He completed advanced training at The Southeastern School of Commercial Lending and has since established himself as a trusted advisor to both businesses and individuals. In 2021, Rich joined RockPointBank, where he continues to leverage his background in development and finance to provide clients with practical guidance designed for long-term success.
Beyond his professional career, Rich has been an active leader in his community. He has served as a board member for the Tennessee Economic and Community Development Board and the Tennessee State Sports Hall of Fame, and he currently sits on the board of the Better Business Bureau.
Susan Spletzer
Susan Spletzer brings more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry and joined locally owned and managed RockPointBank in the summer of 2021. Her career has been focused primarily in private banking, where she has worked closely with high-net-worth and high-income clients to manage complex financial needs.
Susan enjoys structuring both personal and commercial lending solutions and takes pride in delivering creative approaches that help clients reach their goals. She is dedicated to building long-term, meaningful relationships and views every client interaction as an opportunity to earn lasting trust.
In addition to her professional expertise, Susan is active in both community and professional organizations. She is a member of 100+ Women Who Care and the Estate Planning Council of Chattanooga, where she collaborates with peers to strengthen local initiatives. Outside of her career, Susan enjoys spending time outdoors, whether camping, hiking, or boating, and she and her husband are active members of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Stacey Beene
Stacey Beene serves as Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager at RockPointBank, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in the banking industry. While she has excelled in private banking, her expertise spans the full range of commercial and personal lending needs.
Stacey is passionate about demonstrating the value of local banking, where clients benefit from better service, faster decisions, and stronger connections to their community. She takes pride in building meaningful, long-term relationships and providing tailored solutions that help her clients succeed for the long-term

Tom Mastin
Tom Mastin is a Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager at RockPointBank and a native Chattanoogan with more than 25 years of experience in financial leadership and relationship banking.
As one of the original team members, Tom has been with RockPoint Bank since 2021 and has played an important role in the bank’s growth and success. He is known for his strategic insight and ability to craft and deliver tailored solutions to his clients that reflect the bank’s core values of relationships, innovation, and doing the right thing for the community. Tom works closely with businesses, nonprofits, and individuals throughout the Chattanooga region, helping them achieve their financial goals with confidence.

Roy Reeves
Roy Reeves is a commercial banking executive and trusted financial consultant with deep roots in the Chattanooga region. Having grown up in North Georgia and Chattanooga, Roy understands the local community and its business landscape, and he and his wife, Becky, have called the area home while raising their family for nearly four decades.
With a strong foundation in manufacturing management, business analysis, and executive leadership, he brings a unique perspective to his role in banking. As both a former business owner and senior relationship manager, Roy is well positioned to help entrepreneurs and business leaders secure the right mix of funding, lending, and equity solutions to support long-term growth and success.
Roy’s career reflects a broad and diverse background in business and finance. He holds a Lean Manufacturing Certification, is a Certified ISO Internal Auditor, and has previously maintained Series 6 and 63, as well as insurance licenses. Known for his expertise and personal approach, Roy partners with clients to strengthen operations, manage financial relationships, and achieve sustainable results.
